Adenocarcinoma is a cancer condition in a gland lining inside any organ. Adenocarcinoma may cause in gland inside breast, lung, colon, esophagus and prostate.
Gland is a organ in body that produces fluid to moisture and other physiological process. When abnormal cell division is started in gland cell, the condition is called cancer. Though, it is in gland lining it is called adenocarcinoma.
These types of cancer may spread into other cell in body organ from the glands. This is called metastasis.
